Grupa Pracuj lifts recruitment revenue forecast on recovering Polish demand (updated)

UPDATE 1-Grupa Pracuj lifts recruitment revenue forecast on recovering Polish demand

Recasts with 2026 outlook in paragraphs 1-2, adds share move and analyst comment in bullet point 5.

- Polish recruitment company Grupa Pracuj GPPP.WA raised its 2026 revenue outlook for recruitment services on Tuesday as staffing demand recovers in its home market.

Grupa Pracuj, which runs recruitment platforms in Poland and Ukraine and also provides HR software, now expects recruitment services to generate low double-digit percent revenue growth this year, instead of the previously guided high single-digits.

  • Demand recovered across key Polish segments in Q2, including first signs of a rebound in IT recruitment.

  • Q2 net profit rose 20% to 65.6 million zlotys ($18 million), but was 5 million zlotys less than analysts polled by Reuters had expected.

  • Growth was driven by higher revenue and increased prices on the online platforms in Poland and Ukraine.

  • However, revenue from the German segment fell 9.3%, as "historically low" demand for new employees affected services in the region, it said.

  • Shares fell around 4%, with Trigon analyst Dominik Niszcz pointing to the German decline and uncertainty of contributions from the Ukrainian platform.

  • While its software division is growing mainly organically, Grupa Pracuj is open to acquisitions complementing its HR technology offering, CEO Przemyslaw Gacek said.
