PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION
The candidate from Poland's ruling Civic Coalition (KO), Warsaw Mayor Rafal Trzaskowski, leads nationalist Karol Nawrocki in popularity ahead of Sunday's second round of the presidential election, a poll by IBRiS for Polskie Radio 24 showed on Tuesday.
According to the poll, Trzaskowski would get 45.7% support and Nawrocki 44.9%, while 7.8% were undecided. Another 1.6% declined to answer.
CPAC
On Tuesday, Polish President Andrzej Duda and presidential candidate Karol Nawrocki will take part in the annual Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Jasionka near Rzeszow.
RETAIL SALES
Polish retail sales surged in April, data on Monday showed, beating expectations more than twofold after falling for two months and boosting expectations for faster economic growth.
ADAPTIVE MOTORS POLAND
The Polish company Adaptive Motors Poland will apply for 400 million zlotys ($107.24 million) from the National Recovery Plan (KPO), which will be allocated to the construction of a factory for electric delivery vehicles, Puls Biznesu daily reported.
GRUPA PRACUJ
Polish recruitment services company Grupa Pracuj GPPP.WA reported a 10.9% rise in its first quarter adjusted core profit(EBITDA) to 96.7 million zlotys ($25.96 million) on Tuesday, driven by an increase in recruitment projects and a greater share of higher-margin white collar projects.
