GENERAL
All Brazilian gold imports by Germany and 71% by Italy come
from areas of the Amazon where illegal mining is rampant, a
think thank said on Tuesday, calling for increased European
scrutiny.
COMPANIES
STELLANTIS STLAM.MI
Only 80,000 new electric cars could be sold in Italy overall
this year, making the target of 4.3 million cars to be sold by
2030 indicated in the national energy and climate plan (PNIEC)
impossible to reach, MF reported on Wednesday citing data
compiled by a manager from Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei and
think tank I-Com.
ILLIMITY ILTY.MI
After exiting the NPE market, the bank will now be able to
grow faster in the coming years and improve remuneration for
shareholders, Chief Executive Corrado Passera told Class CNBC
television, in an interview published on MF on Wednesday.
JUVENTUS JUVE.MI
National carrier Ita will no longer be the club's main
sponsor due to disagreements between the Prime Minister and John
Elkann - CEO of the club's parent company Exor EXOR.AS and
president of Stellantis STLAM.MI - over the car maker's
national policy, MF reports on Wednesday. MF adds that the
Economy Ministry has denied this.
CIVITANAVI SYSTEMS CNS.MI
The company will be delisted as of Aug. 26 after 99.22% of
the group's shares were sold in the takeover by Honeywell.
