ECONOMY
ISTAT releases August industrial output data (0800 GMT) and
monthly bulletin on the state of the economy in September (0900
GMT).
Bank of Italy releases August data on Italian residents
deposits with domestic banks, banks lending to non-financial
companies and gross bad loans at Italian banks.
Italian economic weakness is likely to continue in coming
months amid tighter credit conditions and the erosion of family
finances due to inflation and stagnant salaries, national
statistics bureau ISTAT said on Monday.
DEBT
Italy's Treasury said on Monday it would sell up to 8
billion euros in 4 Btp bonds at an auction on October 12.
Italy's rising bond yields are a "wake-up call", the
country's central bank said on Monday, urging the government to
be prudent in its budgetary policy.
