ECONOMY Bank of Italy releases July data on Italian residents deposits with domestic banks, banks lending to non-financial companies and gross bad loans at Italian banks. DEBT Italy's Treasury said on Monday it would sell up to4.75 billion euros over two bonds at an auction on September 11. COMPANIES STELLANTIS STLAM.MI, FERRARI RACE.MI Stellantis and Ferrari Chairman John Elkann has agreed to do a year of community service and pay a negotiated sum to settle a tax dispute over the inheritance from his grandmother, Italian prosecutors said on Monday. MEDIOBANCA MDBI.MI, BANCA MPS BMPS.MI Monte dei Paschi di Siena has secured 62% of Mediobanca, bourse data showed on Monday, paving the way for a shake-up at the bid target where long-standing CEO Alberto Nagel is preparing to step down. (*) Mediobanca said on Tuesday that shareholders part of a consultation pact, holding a total stake of 5.97%, unanimously decided to terminate the agreement, effective immediately.
