Sovereign fund Danantara says it has bought stocks after market rout JAKARTA, Oct 22 (Reuters) - Sovereign wealth fund Danantara Indonesia has been buying shares it thought were attractive, with several companies still possessing good fundamentals, including state-controlled ones, the fund's chief investment officer said on Thursday.
Pandu Sjahrir made the comments at a press briefing following a massive stock market selloff triggered by MSCI's warning last Friday that it could demote Indonesian equities to "standalone" market status.
