S.Korea's Ram Technology surges on report of chip-making material supply to SK Hynix

** Shares of Ram Technology  171010.KQ  soar nearly 30% to
hit the intraday price limit on media reports that the company
has supplied liquid hydrogen fluoride to SK Hynix  000660.KS  
    ** On Wednesday, an official from SK Hynix had said that the
company started using the high-tech material from an unnamed
local supplier in its chip-making process  urn:newsml:reuters.com:*:nL3N26N0AO
    ** Local media have reported that SK Hynix tested
high-quality liquid hydrogen fluoride supplied by Ram Technology
    ** High-purity hydrogen fluoride (HF) is used in etching
silicon materials and cleaning chips
    ** An official from Ram Technology declined to comment on
the reports
    ** Following Japan's exports curbs on high-tech materials
used in chip-making process, South Korean chipmakers have been
looking for ways to cut their reliance on Japanese materials 
    ** The broader KOSPI market  .KS11  and the junior KOSDAQ
market  .KQ11  were trading flat
