July 29 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported by 0930 GMT on Wednesday:
     
** German drug packaging firm Gerresheimer <GXIG.DE> said it was selling two plastic packaging units, including the U.S. business Centor, to private equity group Apax Funds for €1.5 billion ($1.71 billion) including debt.

** Sembcorp Utilities, a unit of Singapore-listed Sembcorp Industries <SCIL.SI>, said that it will purchase a 20% equity stake in Aster Power, deepening its energy partnership with Aster Chemicals and Energy.
