S.Korea's SoulBrain soars on successful production of chipmaking chemical

** Shares of SoulBrain  036830.KQ , a South Korean supplier
of Samsung Electronics  005930.KS  and SK Hynix  000660.KS ,
surge after the firm says it has successfully produced hydrogen
fluoride, a high tech chipmaking material 
    ** South Korea's Trade, Industry and Energy Minister Sung
Yun-mo visits the plant of SoulBrain to mark the occasion,

    ** SoulBrain's achievement marks the first success of joint
efforts by the government and companies for domestic supply of
the materials, the statement says
    ** Following a diplomatic row between Seoul and Tokyo
involving Japan's curbs on high-tech materials exports to South
Korea, the South Korean government has supported the production
of the chipmaking chemicals
    ** Shares of SoulBrain soar more than 8%, while Samsung Elec
and SK Hynix gain 1.6% and 2.2%, respectively
    ** The benchmark KOSPI market  .KS11  was trading up 1%,
while the junior KOSDAQ market  .KQ11  was up 0.3%
