To ensure high-quality contributions, all posts on Stockopedia’s platform must adhere to the following guidelines. Content that does not meet these standards may be moderated or removed.

- Articles must focus on topics valuable to our community, including:

- Behavioural finance
- Economic themes influencing the stock market
- Content unrelated to investment or finance (e.g., politically motivated or general-interest articles) will not be published.
2. Originality and Attribution
- Submissions must primarily consist of original writing.
- Quotations can support arguments but should not dominate the article.
- Over reliance on external sources may lead to moderation.
3. Balanced and Logical Argumentation
- Articles must provide logically reasoned arguments, backed by evidence.
- Personal opinions, rants, or unsubstantiated claims are not permitted.
- A balanced perspective is essential: avoid excessive promotion or criticism of specific stocks, companies, or strategies.
4. Presentation and Professionalism
- Submissions must be written in clear, grammatically correct prose.
- Content requiring significant editing will not be accepted.
- Bullet points are welcome for clarity but should not replace coherent narrative.
- Articles must maintain a professional tone and style.
5. Technical Requirements
- Graphics: Images should not exceed 650px in width and must be hosted externally with proper copyright permissions.
- Length: Articles must be between 300 and 2500 words. Multi-part series are allowed, but each part must meet the word count.
- External Links: Links to external websites, webinars, or other resources are discouraged and only allowed under exceptional circumstances, subject to review.
6. Ethical Standards
- Disclosure of Interests: Authors should disclose any financial or personal interests related to the stocks or companies mentioned in their article. Sponsored content must include a clear disclosure.
- Respect for Others: Articles must maintain a respectful tone toward other members and avoid inflammatory language or personal attacks. Healthy debates are encouraged but must remain professional.
- Copyright and Plagiarism: All submissions must be original and respect third-party copyrights. Plagiarism will result in removal and potential suspension.
7. Author Accountability
- Authors should have a photo or avatar on their profile.
- Real names and contact details must be provided to Stockopedia’s admin team (confidentially maintained).
8. Moderation and Assistance
- Stockopedia reserves the right to moderate posts based on these guidelines.
- If unsure about compliance, authors are encouraged to seek clarification before submitting.
