The Company’s segments include Electric, Telecommunications and Other. Its Electric segment provides retail and wholesale electric service, including both hydroelectric and diesel generation facilities in rural portions of Alaska. The Telecommunications segment provides local telephone service also in rural areas of Alaska. Its services include Internet, power, telephone and customer service. Its Internet services include broadband, mesh WiFi, Internet support, run a speed test, Wi-Fi hotspot service, performance testing and others. Its power services include heat pump, incentives, SmartHub, gustavus resources, service requirements and others. Its telephone service includes SmartHub, long distance, data transport, call completion issues and others. Its customer service includes billing support, lifeline & link-up, regulatory and others.
