Profile Summary
alpha-En Corporation is a technology company. The Company is focused on enabling battery technologies by developing and bringing materials produced in an environmentally sustainable manner. The Company has developed a process to produce pure lithium metal and associated products produced at room temperature. It has also created a carbon neutral technology. Its electrodeposition method produces a range of thin films of pure lithium on a myriad of substrates. The Company has developed a pre-lithiation technology, leveraging its dual-compartment electrochemical cell for pre-lithiation of anode laminates, such as porous graphite anodes. The Company’s technology also enables the use of lower quality cathode materials, recovered by battery recycling, by adding lithium back into the system on the anode side.
