BlackGold Natural Resources Limited is a Singapore-based investment holding company. The principal activity of its subsidiaries is that of coal mining. It is a natural resources mining company. The Company is focused on supplying coal to power plants located in Riau province, Sumatra, Indonesia. The Company, through its subsidiaries in Indonesia, holds the rights to a coal concession in Riau, a region rich in natural resources. It utilizes a pit-to-port development strategy, which consists of coal mining, a coal transportation network, a coal loading port and a coal-fired power plant for the development of the country's electrical power capacity. Its PT Samantaka Batubara (PT SB) concession is in production and has explored approximately area of 10,000 hectares. This comprises 66% of its asset portfolio, totaling approximately 15,000 hectares.
