Collexis Holdings, Inc. (Collexis) is a global software company headquartered in Columbia, South Carolina with major operations in Cincinnati, Ohio, Geldermalsen, the Netherlands and Cologne, Germany. The Company develops software that supports the knowledge intensive market, building tools to search and mine large sets of information. Its software enables search, aggregation, navigation and discovery of information. Collexis generates its revenues primarily from licensing its software and content, providing services to the users of its software, maintaining and supporting its software, selling related hardware and hosting software on an application service provider basis. On July 15, 2008, Collexis acquired the shares of Collexis Inc. from its wholly owned subsidiary Collexis B.V. Collexis Inc. is the Company’s primary operating subsidiary in the United States. Collexis B.V. was established to develop market and implement information technology.
