Profile Summary
Deep Well Oil & Gas, Inc., through its subsidiaries, is an independent junior oil sands exploration and development company. The Company is focused on development of oil sands land base where its subsidiaries have working interests ranging from 25% to 100% in the Peace River oil sands area of Canada. Its projects include SAGD Thermal Recovery Project and Horizontal Cyclic Steam Stimulation (HCSS) Thermal Recovery Project. Its Sawn Lake oil sands properties are located within the Peace River oil sands area of Alberta. It has entered into a Joint operating agreement (the SAGD Project) with one of its joint venture partners on the Company's 50% (25% after Farmout) jointly owned oil sands properties located in North Central Alberta, Canada, also known as the Sawn Lake field. Its subsidiaries Northern Alberta Oil Ltd. and Deep Well Oil & Gas (Alberta) Ltd. have over 90% working interest in 51 sections on six oil sands leases, and 100% working interest in 5 sections on one oil sands lease.
