Profile Summary
The Flamemaster Corporation is a supplier of aerospace sealants and specialty products for both military and commercial applications. It manufactures a diverse line of sealants, such as polysulfide, polythioether, silicone, and epoxy for military and commercial applications; fire protection products and coatings, including heat-resistant ablative coatings; adhesives; and electrical potting compounds. Its sealants are used in various aerospace and marine applications, to seal aircraft fuel tanks and pressurized or crew compartments, to seal optical devices, and in connection with seaworthiness of commercial and naval vessels as well as pleasure craft. It also manufactures and distributes epoxy bonding compounds for construction materials, epoxy joint sealers and others. It produces flame retardant coatings that are used in industrial applications to prevent the propagation of fire in electrical cables which are grouped together in cable trays, junction boxes, and similar locations.
