Harbor Bankshares Corporation is a bank holding company of Harbor Bankshares Capital Corporation (HBCC) and The Harbor Bank of Maryland (the Bank). HBCC owns Harbor Bankshares Asset Management, LLC and the Bank owns Harbor Financial Services. The Bank is a commercial bank. The Bank offers checking, savings and time deposits, commercial real estate, personal, home improvement, automobile, and other installment and term loans. HBCCs activities include providing private capital to businesses through loans and principal investments. The Bank conducts general banking business in about seven locations and primarily serves the Baltimore, Maryland, metropolitan area. The Bank's loan portfolio includes residential real estate, construction and land development, commercial real estate loans, commercial and industrial loans, and consumer loans.
