LIC Housing Finance Limited is a housing finance company. It provides long term finance to individuals for the purchase or construction of a house/flat for residential purposes in India. It also provides finance on existing property for business/ personal needs and also gives loans to professionals for purchase/construction of clinics/nursing homes/ diagnostic centers/ office space and also for purchase of equipment. Its Loans segment comprises providing finance for purchase, construction, repairs, and renovation of houses/buildings. Its Other Segments comprise Financial Services segment, which involves the business of marketing financial products and services on their own account, as well as for and on behalf of other service providers, Construction Segment, which operates assisted living community centers for elderly citizens in India and Asset Management segment. It offers housing loan, home renovation loan, home loan top up, home extension loan, plot loan and others.
