Metkore Alloys & Industries Limited is an India-based company. The Company is engaged in manufacturing and selling various types of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, alloys steels, ferroalloys, manganese alloys and other metal alloys. The product line of the Company consists of ferrochrome and other traded ferroalloy and related products such as ore, coal, coke, charcoal, anthracite coal, quartzite and others. The Company operates in a single segment, being Iron and Steel, Ferro Alloys. The Company’s products include Silico Manganese, Ferro Manganese, Ferro Silicon. The Company produces mainly high carbon ferro chrome (over 90%) and small quantities of silicon manganese and ferro silicon. Its Silico Manganese product is used as an alloying agent in the manufacturing of steel. Its Ferro Manganese is an alloy of iron and manganese which is used in the manufacture of steel. Its Ferro Silicon is an alloy of iron and silicon which is used for deoxidizing molten steel.
