Pcas SA, formerly Produits Chimiques Auxiliaires Et De Synthese SA, is a France-based company engaged in the development and manufacture of complex molecules for life sciences and specialty chemicals markets. It operates through nine production sites and two main business units, Pharma Synthesis and Fine & Specialty Chemicals. Pharma Synthesis unit specializes in active pharmaceutical ingredients (API), intermediates and building blocks, and early phase services, among others. Fine & Specialty Chemicals unit focuses on custom manufacturing and proprietary products, such as fragrance, flavor ingredients, imaging and microelectronics chemicals. The Company operates several subsidiaries, including Saint-Jean Photochimie, Societe Bearnaise de Synthese, Expansia, PCAS BioMatrix Inc, based in Canada, and PCAS Finland Oy, based in Finland, among others.
