Profile Summary
PetroNeft Resources PLC is an international oil and gas exploration and production company, focused on Russia. The Company develops oil assets in the Tomsk Oblast in Western Siberia. The Company has two main assets, a 90% operating interest in a 2,477 square kilometers (km2) oil and gas license (License 67) and a 50% operated interest in a 4,991 km2 oil and gas license (License 61), both these licenses are located within the Tomsk Oblast. These licenses are located in the prolific Western Siberian Oil and Gas Basin. License 61 includes seven known oil fields: Lineynoye, Tungolskoye, Arbuzovskoye, Sibkrayevskoye, West Lineynoye, Kondrashevskoye and North Varyakhskoye and over 25 Prospects and Leads that are being explored. License 67 includes the Cheremshanskoye and Ledovoye oil fields and numerous prospects and leads. Tungolsky License 61 is located on the east side of the Ob River in the least explored oil-bearing region of the Tomsk Oblast.
