Profile Summary
Rainforest Resources Inc. is focused on sustainable projects. The Company's work includes carbon credit sales, coffee farming and bottled water. The Company's major project is the 12,000-hectare (29,000 acre) Sumack Sacha Forest, a primary rainforest located near Sangay National Park in the border province of Morona-Santiago. It cultivates strategic alliances with private companies committed to mitigating and sensitizing the issue of climate change. The Company does this by helping private companies offset their carbon footprint and achieve their emission goals through the sale of carbon offset credits. Sumack Sacha produces ultra-high quality and sustainably harvested coffee beans. Its water catchment site in the Chimborazo Wildlife Reserve, allows locals access to bottled water and exports to the international market.
