Profile Summary
Scope Industries has two core businesses: Waste Material Recycling and Vocational Beauty Schools. The Company owns and operates 13 plants in the United States where bakery and snack food waste material is processed and converted into food supplements for animals. These food supplements are sold under the names Dext Company, International Processing Corporation, Recycle to Conserve and ReConserve. The Company also owns and operates one plant where bakery waste material is processed and converted into edible breadcrumbs. Scope's subsidiary, Scope Beauty Enterprises, Inc., doing business as Marinello Schools of Beauty, owns and operates 13 vocational beauty schools where cosmetology and manicuring are taught. The schools are located in southern California and Nevada.
