Speedus Corp. (Speedus) operates primarily through its two majority-owned subsidiaries, Zargis Medical Corp. (Zargis) and Density Dynamics Corp. (DDC). Zargis is a medical device company focused on the development of computer-aided medical devices and telemedicine-based delivery systems. DDC is engaged in the development of its line of dynamic random access memory (DRAM)-based, solid-state storage and input/output (I/O) acceleration technology. As of December 31, 2009, the Company held approximately 90% ownership interest in Zargis.
