Profile Summary
WSB Financial Group, Inc. was a bank holding company for Westsound Bank. The Company no longer has any operations. On Friday, May 8, 2009, Westsound Bank, the wholly-owned subsidiary and principal asset of WSB Financial Group, Inc., was closed by the State of Washington, Department of Financial Institutions, Division of Banks and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation was appointed as receiver of the Bank. The FDIC entered into a purchase and assumption agreement with Kitsap Bank, Port Orchard, Washington, to assume all of the deposits, except those from brokers, of Westsound Bank. Westsound Bank’s nine offices reopened on May 11, 2009, as branches of Kitsap Bank. Westsound Bank provided a range of banking services and products to individuals, including personal checking and savings accounts and other consumer banking products, including electronic banking.
