Profile Summary
Ampeak Energy Limited, formerly SIMEC Atlantis Energy Limited, is a global developer, owner and operator of sustainable energy projects. The Company owns tidal stream project, MeyGen, and the Uskmouth Power Station site, which is being repurposed into a sustainable energy park. It specializes in tidal energy projects design, development and operation. Its flagship project, MeyGen, harnesses the power tides to generate clean, renewable energy to the grid. It has an option to develop a tidal steam project of up to 398 megawatts (MW) at an offshore site between Scotland’s northernmost coast and the island of Stroma. It is the owner, developer and operator of the Uskmouth Sustainable Energy Park. It is transforming Uskmouth into battery energy storage systems site. The Uskmouth site is capable of supporting approximately 3.5-gigawatt-hours (GWh) of battery storage projects. Its Mey BESS project sees up to a 1.2 GWh battery storage project delivered at a site for renewable energy projects.
