Amsc ASA, previously known as American Shipping Company ASA, is a Norway-based ship finance company focused on owning and bareboat chartering maritime assets. The company owns a fleet of nine modern handy size product tankers, one modern handy size shuttle tanker and an international subsea construction vessel. The Company’s business activities are divided into two business segments: The U.S. Jones Act tankers and The Offshore. The U.S. Jones Act tankers segment includes nine product tankers and one shuttle tanker. The Offshore segment includes one international subsea construction vessel, acquired during 2022. The Company's focusing on generating stable long term returns for its stakeholders. The Company was established in 2005 and operates in Norway and USA.
