Profile Summary
Applied Energetics, Inc. provides advanced optical technologies and ultrashort pulse directed energy solutions, utilizes patented, dual-use laser and optical technologies to advance critical industries, including defense, national security, biomedical and manufacturing. The Company has developed and holds crucial intellectual property rights to a dynamic directed energy technology called Laser Guided Energy (LGE) and Laser Induced Plasma Channel (LIPC). LGE and LIPC are technologies that can be used in high-tech directed energy systems. It owns approximately 25 patents and an additional 11 Government Sensitive Patent Applications (GSPA). These GSPA's are held under secrecy orders of the United States government, providing the Company with extended protection rights. The Company also has approximately nine pending patent applications. Its optical fiber-based laser architectures also enable improved wavelength agility as well as pulse duration agility.
