Ascent Industries Co. is an industrials company focused on the production and distribution of specialty chemicals and industrial tubular products. Its segments include Specialty Chemicals and Tubular Products. Specialty Chemicals segment produces specialty formulations and intermediates for use in a variety of applications and industries with primary product lines focusing on the production of surfactants, defoamers, lubricating agents, flame retardants, chemical intermediates and others. This segment’s end users include companies that use its products as raw materials or process aids in the manufacturing of products such as cleaners, coatings, water treatment chemicals, metal working fluids, textiles, oilfield production chemicals, agrochemical formulations and other applications. Tubular Products segment consists of ASTI, which manufactures high-end ornamental stainless steel tube, supplying the automotive, commercial transportation, marine, food services and other industries.
