Profile Summary
Asia Global Crossing Ltd., formerly Asia Netcom, is a pan-Asian telecommunications carrier providing telecommunications services, including Internet, data, voice and Web hosting services, to wholesale and business customers. The Company offers a comprehensive broadband network, combining its Asia-Pacific coverage with the mainland capabilities of China Netcom, a broadband telecommunications provider in China, to provide city-to-city connectivity and data communications solutions to pan-Asian and multi-national enterprises, Internet service providers (ISPs) and carriers. On March 11, 2003, the Company was relaunched upon the completion of a transaction between Asia Global Crossing and China Netcom, in which Asia Netcom, a company organized by China Netcom on behalf of a consortium of investors, acquired substantially all of Asia Global Crossing's operating subsidiaries, excluding Pacific Crossing Ltd. and related entities.
