Aerkomm Inc. is a space technology company. The Company is a development stage service provider of in-flight entertainment and connectivity (IFEC) solutions. The Company’s wireless connectivity solution provides access to media content, including movies, videos, music, news feeds, video games, advertising, and promotions. It also provides satellite-based solutions for mobile backhaul to help operators deliver a user experience. Its full-dominance glass semiconductor antenna (FGSA) technology transforms phased array antenna technology from printed circuit board (PCB)-based systems to semiconductor-based. This technology integrates an antenna and circuits that are built using a semiconductor process, allowing for a higher degree of integration and smaller form factor. Its products include radio frequency integrated circuit (RF IC), Modem, EdgeKomm Box and others. EdgeKomm Box is an advanced computing device that optimizes connectivity services and over-the-top (OTT) content delivery.
