Bank of Ireland Group PLC is a financial services company which provides a range of banking and other financial services. Its segments include Retail Ireland, Wealth and Insurance, Retail UK, Corporate and Markets, and Group Centre. The Retail Ireland segment serves its customers with day-to-day services, products, propositions, and a financial wellbeing program. The Wealth and Insurance segment includes the life assurance business, investment markets, and general insurance brokerage. The Retail UK segment includes the activities of Bank of Ireland (UK) plc, its UK-licensed banking subsidiary. The Corporate and Markets segment provides a range of lending, banking, and treasury risk management services to national and international corporate and business customers. The Group Centre segment comprises group technology and customer solutions, group finance, group risk, people services, strategy & transformation, the group internal audit, and other central support and control functions.
