Profile Summary
BW Ideol AS is a Norway-based fully integrated platform in floating offshore wind. The Company is executing its dual-track strategy as a co-developer of offshore floating wind projects and as Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation (EPCI) contractor of floating wind technology. The Company has two full-scale offshore floating wind turbines in operation in France and Japan. BW Ideol’s project portfolio includes Floatgen, a 2MW floating wind turbine demonstrator installed off the coast of Le Croisic. The turbine supplies around 5000 inhabitants with electricity. BW Ideol is also a project partner and supplier of the floating foundation technology for the Eolmed project in France. The Company has three subsidiaries: Ideol SA, Ideol Japan LLC and Ideol US Inc.
