Profile Summary
Canadian Gold Corp. is a Canadian mineral exploration and development company. The Company is focused on expanding the high-grade gold resource at the past producing Tartan Mine, located in Flin Flon, Manitoba. Its principal project is the Tartan Lake Gold Mine Project, a mineral property which hosts a past-producing underground mine. The Company, through its subsidiary, Apollo Exploration Inc., holds interests in exploration projects in the vicinity of Canada’s gold mines and development projects, namely: Malartic South Project located near the Canadian Malartic Mine in Quebec; HEES Project located near Barrick Gold’s Hemlo Mine in Ontario, and Hammond Reef North & South Projects located due south of Agnico Eagle’s Hammond Reef Gold Project in Ontario. The Malartic South Project offers discovery potential for both gold and copper mineralization. It has option to acquire 100% of the Tartan West property. It also has an option agreement to acquire 100% of the Flin Flon North property.
