CarePayment Technologies Inc. is a healthcare finance company. The Company enables people to manage their medical expenses. The Company offers solutions in healthcare and consumer finance. The Company provides patient finance solutions to hospitals, physician practices and ancillary service providers. The CarePayment program is a payment plan sponsored by the healthcare provider to enable patients for paying their outstanding balance due after insurance has paid their portion, but without interest, through monthly payments. The Company’s primary product is an annual percentage rate (APR) open-ended revolving line of credit. Its co-branded patient engagement program with the healthcare providers includes onsite materials to explain the CarePayment program, follow-up materials that are mailed to patients, co-branded membership card and co-branded marketing and public relations program. It assesses collection performance by analyzing financial data and historical patient-pay performance.
