Profile Summary
CFOAM Limited is an Australia-based company that is engaged in the commercialization of its CFOAM business. CFOAM carbon foam products are enabling technologies for a host of next generation material systems and components. CFOAM carbon foam can replace conventional materials in existing systems to enhance product life cycle and to provide enhanced product performance properties. CFOAM carbon foam is designed for engineering material for various applications, including aerospace tooling, fireproof wall core material, energy absorbing structures, blast protection systems, exhaust systems, and hot structures. CFOAM carbon foam can also be used in thermal protection systems and as structural panels for EMI shielding and RADAR-absorbing applications. Its CFOAM 35 HTC graphite foam is a graphitized, lightweight, and open-cell carbon foam produced from mesophase pitch feedstock. CFOAM 35 HTC is also machinable, chemically inert, corrosion free, and resistant to harsh environments.
