Companhia Brasileira de Distribuicao SA is a Brazil-based food e-commerce company. The Company's activities are carried out through one operating segment - retail. The range of food products includes non-perishable foods, beverages, fruits, vegetables, meats in general, breads, cold cuts, dairy products, cleaning products, disposable products as well as personal hygiene products. The Company also markets, to a lesser extent, non-food products, including clothing items, housewares and electronics. Companhia Brasileira de Distribuicao brings together such brands as Compre Bem, Extra and Pao de Acucar, as well as the private-label brands Qualita, Taeq, Club des Sommeliers. The Company operates more than 800 physical stores.
