Profile Summary
Great Plains Metals Corp., formerly Norrland Gold Corp., is a Canada-based company. The Company is focused on mineral exploration and development with a gold discovery in Sweden and has a stake in a copper gold exploration portfolio in Australia. The Company’s Vittantrasket tenement is located in the Gold-line, a region of orogenic gold deposits, such as Barsele and Svartliden. The Vittantrasket tenement covers approximately 3,741 hectares (ha). The North Gawler Project is a large district scale tenement package that covers 2,584 square kilometers with early-stage Iron Oxide Copper Gold (IOCG) and ionic clay type rare earth elements (REE) exploration opportunities located in the under-explored region of the northern Gawler Craton, Australia. The Ashburton Project comprises 346 square kilometers under application with intrusive-related copper gold targets in the under-explored Ashburton basin, Australia.
