Profile Summary
High Country Bancorp, Inc. is a bank holding company which has two wholly owned subsidiaries, High Country Bank (the Bank) and B.Ass. Co., Inc. (B.Ass). The Bank is a Colorado state chartered commercial bank with Federal Reserve Bank membership. Its primary deposit products are noninterest-bearing and interest-bearing checking accounts, savings accounts and time deposit accounts, and its primary lending products are real estate mortgage, construction, consumer and commercial loans. The Bank's residential mortgage services include purchase, refinance, home equity loans, construction, mortgage loan team, and mortgage brochures. The Bank's commercial services include commercial real estate, commercial equipment, commercial line of credit, and commercial loan team. B.Ass makes limited investments in notes receivable and real estate acquired at fair value from the Bank. Deposit accounts of the Bank are insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) up to certain limitations.
