Homag Group AG is a Germany-based company that manufactures machines and equipment for the woodworking industry. It is organized into four segments. Industry segment comprises solutions for industrial companies based on plants, machines, information, control technology and woodworking processes. The segment Cabinet Shops encompasses entities focused on products catering for special requirements of smaller workshops. Sales & Service segment covers distribution and service activities in Germany as well as abroad, and segment Other includes holding activities of Homag Group AG. The Company offers Machines, including machines for entry-level and mid-range markets; Cells, comprising machines linked to form production lines for flexible job production and automated mass production, among others; as well as Factory Installations, containing holistic system solutions. On February 3, 2014, the Company increased its share in the voting capital of Stiles Machinery Inc to 100%.
