Profile Summary
KDDI Corp is a Japan-based telecommunications company. The Company operates in two segments. The Personal segment provides services to individual customers. In Japan, the segment mainly provides 5G communication services under the multi-brands of au, UQ mobile, and povo. Overseas, the segment provides telecommunication services, financial services, and entertainment services such as video for individual customers in Myanmar and Mongolia. The Business segment provides a variety of solutions for corporate customers in Japan and overseas, including smartphones and other devices, networks, and cloud computing, as well as data center services under the Telehouse brand. The Company also provides services such as construction and maintenance of communications facilities, and research and development of information and communications technology.
