The principal activities of the Company and its subsidiaries are grape production and sales, wine making, marketing and sales of wine in New Zealand and international markets. It owns vineyards in the Marlborough region, from which it produces wines. Marlborough Wine Estates owns and operates three vineyards comprising approximately 149 planted hectares of Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir located in the Awatere Valley in Marlborough. The Company holds approximately 336 hectares of land in Marlborough, New Zealand. Its brands include OTU Wines and Music Bay. OTU Wine Estate produces ripe fruit-flavored wines. The Company supplies products to customers based in New Zealand, the United States, the United Kingdom/Europe, and Australia.
