The Company is primarily engaged in retail trading of medicines and general items, wholesale cash and carry and pathological laboratory testing services, wholesale trading and manufacturing of pharmaceutical products, fast-moving consumer goods and beauty products. It operates through three segments: Retail, Diagnostics, and Others. The Retail segment is engaged in retail trading of medicines and general items. The Diagnostics segment is engaged in the diagnostic services. The Other segment includes insurance broking business. The Company operates approximately 4,407 stores in 600 cities distributed across Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Odisha, West Bengal, and Maharashtra. Its omni-channel platform enables the Company to service its customers through its stores, as well as its online channels. Its subsidiaries include Optival Health Solutions Private Limited, MHS Pharmaceuticals Private Limited, and others.
