Profile Summary
Nortec Minerals Corp. is a mineral exploration company. It holds 100% interests in two exploration stage volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) critical mineral projects, namely the Mattagami River Zinc and the Sturgeon Lake VMS properties, both located in Ontario, Canada. The Sturgeon Lake VMS Property lies immediately north and adjacent to Glencore's past-producing Mattabi Mine. The Sturgeon Lake VMS Property is in the Six Mile Lake, Bell Lake and Quest Lake township areas of the Patricia Mining Division of Northwestern Ontario. The Sturgeon Lake VMS Property comprises 417 unpatented mining claims having a combined area of over 8,500 hectares and is located over 80 kilometers (km) northeast of Ignace, Ontario. The Mattagami River Zinc property comprises 43 unpatented mining claims, has a combined area of approximately 700 hectares and is in Agate and Tucker townships of the Porcupine Mining Division of Northeastern Ontario, over 50 km northeast of the town of Kapuskasing, Ontario.
