Profile Summary
PIMCO Global Income Opportunities Fund (the Fund) is a closed-end investment fund. The Fund seeks to provide monthly cash distributions, while maximizing total returns through distributions and capital appreciation and aiming to preserve capital. In order to achieve its objectives, the Fund invests primarily in fixed income securities selected from multiple global fixed-income sectors. Its investment portfolio includes various classes of allocation, which include corporate bonds and notes, asset-backed securities, non-agency mortgage-backed securities, loan participations and assignments, and common stocks, among others. It invests across various industries, such as aerospace/defense, technology, wirelines, healthcare, media cable, satellites, media noncable: broadcasting, consumer products, REITS: residential and financial other. PIMCO Canada Corp. is the investment fund manager and portfolio adviser of the Fund. Its sub-advisor is Pacific Investment Management Company LLC.
