Pioneering Technology Corp. is an energy smart technology company. It is engaged in cooking fire prevention technologies and products. Its patented cooking-fire prevention products address the problem of cooking fires. It develops advanced thermo-based technology solutions for opportunities that exist to improve the safety and/or energy efficiency of common household products and appliances. Its product solutions help reduce cooking fires and false alarms by helping prevent these types of fires from starting in the first place. Its proprietary cooking fire prevention solutions include SmartElement, SmartBurner, SmartRange, SmartMicro, and are suitable for more than 140 million stoves/ranges and over 140 million microwave ovens in use throughout North America. It has other product solutions and is focused on commercializing/distributing other fire prevention technologies. Its temperature limiting control technology is installed in over 450,000 multi-residential housing units.
