Polarcool AB is a Sweden-based medical device company that offers a controlled cooling treatment. The Company provides solutions on concussive and sub-concussive brain injuries such as PolarCap System. The device PolarCap System is intended as an acute treatment for concussion, as soon as possible after injury. PolarCap aims to reduce the metabolic demand in the brain, when a concussion occurs during sports. By lowering brain temperature rapidly through controlled cooling. With this System, the Company protects the athletes, their clubs as well as the financial losses occurring while an athlete recovers or having to quit the sport altogether.
