Profile Summary
Praetura Growth VCT PLC is a United Kingdom-based venture capital trust (VCT). The investment objective of the Company is to provide investors with the opportunity for capital appreciation and a positive return on investment over the long term by investing growth capital into scalable businesses predominantly situated and/or servicing the North of England. The Company will comply with VCT tax rules in order to qualify and maintain its status as a VCT under the relevant tax legislation in the United Kingdom so that investors may benefit from the scheme’s attractive tax reliefs. The Company will invest in companies at various stages of their lifecycle, across a range of sectors including technology and healthcare, but with a focus on Qualifying Investments predominantly situated and/or servicing the North of England. It will initially make a number of follow on investments into portfolio companies of the Praetura EIS Growth Fund. Praetura Ventures Limited is the manager of the Company.
