Saint-Gobain Sekurit India Limited is an India-based company engaged primarily in the business of the manufacture and sale of automotive glass. The Company is also engaged in the business of processing glasses to manufacture windshields for the automobile industry. Its automotive glasses are classified as laminated and tempered. It provides a range of solutions for the mobility markets to address original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) (Sekurit), transport (Sekurit Transport) and aftermarket (Autover) needs. The Company is focused on growing in the OEM market, mainly in three-wheeler, trucks, light commercial vehicles (LCV) buses and after-market business. It is also focused on developing value-added products that improve the safety and comfort of passengers while traveling in vehicles. The Company’s factory at Chakan, Pune, which manufactures laminated glasses. It caters to private sector customers in the auto and automotive aftermarket.
