Profile Summary
Seafarms Group Limited is an Australia-based sustainable aquaculture company. The Company operates, builds and invests in sustainable aquaculture production, producing seafood. Its segments include Aquaculture and Other. The Company is engaged in producing premium Crystal Bay Prawns and developing the Project Sea Dragon prawn aquaculture project in northern Australia. The Company, through Seafarms Queensland Pty Ltd, has the capacity to operate approximately 132.5 hectares of prawn production ponds in Cardwell and Ingham (far North Queensland) where it produces up to 1,300 metric tons of black tiger and banana prawns that are distributed to Australian retailers and the domestic food service industry. Project Sea Dragon project is a land-based prawn aquaculture project being developed across multiple sites at Exmouth (Western Australia), Point Ceylon at Bynoe Harbour (near Darwin), Gunn Point (near Darwin), Legune Pastoral Lease (Northern Territory) and Kununurra (Western Australia).
