Profile Summary
Seafarms Group Limited is an Australia-based sustainable aquaculture company. It operates, builds and invests in sustainable aquaculture production, producing seafood. It operates through the Aquaculture segment. It is engaged in producing premium Crystal Bay Prawns and developing the Project Sea Dragon prawn aquaculture project in northern Australia. The Sea Dragon project is an integrated, land-based prawn aquaculture project being developed in northern Australia. Its Project Sea Dragon will be a staged development of up to 10,000 hectares (ha) of prawn production ponds, supported by a series of geographically separate facilities across northern Australia. Its operations are vertically integrated, including a hatchery, located at Flying Fish Point, grow-out facilities, including 148 ponds covering 160 ha across three farms in Cardwell and Ingham, and processing located in Cardwell. It produces year-round reliable prawn volumes for both Australian customers and export markets.
